It's that time! And this is the 20th anniversary! Barber Motorsports is hosting the Vintage Motorcycle RFestuval and MotoAl will have our Swap Meet Booth as usual. I'm not sure how long we've been there, but I know it's at least 15 years. We will be in the same spot, Row K, booths 10-12. If you plan to attend, drop by and see us. Enjoy some hospitality. As always, there will be food and cold drinks as well as shade and a place to sit and chat.

If you have any unwanted motorcycle gear, parts, or takeoffs that are cluttering your garage, give me a holler. I'll arrange a pick up!

Also, our crew has had some scheduling conflict this year so we have two spaces available if you want to volunteer. It includes a weekend armband, food and a camping spot for 4 nights. The only hard work is set up on the first day and load out on Sunday afternoon. Everything else is incredibly flexible. Let me know if you're interested in joining this year!

I sold my Tenere back in the Spring.  The new owner didn't take all the takeoff parts with her. I've got a  small pile of other parts that I have been saving for you too.
Leaving on Saturday for a couple weeks,  I'll holler at you when I get home.

I've got a lot of old gear to donate.  I might try to bring it down sometime before that weekend.

Let me know if I need to schedule a pick up. I may be in the Huntsville area on Monday.

If you are going to be in the area I'll get it all ready and give it to you then.  Let me know when you will be in the area.  I can meet you somewhere if you want or you can stop be my house which is near the airport.

@klaviator if I come up on Monday, I will be at Butler Green. Is that close to the airport?

Put me down for the weekend. My conference that is in Gulf Shores doesn't fall on Vintage weekend for a change.

I'm thinking about pulling my enclosed trailer down and sleeping in it. Will there be room to park truck and trailer at our site?

I'll be able to pickup and haul parts along with a bike or 2 from N. Alabama if needed.

Chitza

How big is your trailer, @jrobinson?
We may be able to work something out in the ditch behind our site, I park my Jeep there if it's not a wet mess when it's raining. They do provide free parking in the tech lot for Swap Meet vendors. There is also space in the MotoAL trailer for you to sleep. When weather permits, folks throw their air mattresses or cots/sleeping bags on the ground under the awnings. Lots of options.
Thanks for volunteering!

Butler Green is about 13 miles from my house.  I could probably meet you there if you come up.  Or if @jrobinson is going to be going down with a trailer I can bring my stuff to him.

My +1 has backed out on me so I won't be going to Huntsville. Maybe get with Johnny :)

@jrobinson I think we can manage the trailer on site for sure. We may have to park the truck in the tech lot but we can make that decision on Thursday. You will need to get there at least by midday on Thursday or it will be difficult to get your rig in place. It will also depend on the weather. If it's raining, everything shuffles.

I'll meetup with Win in a couple weeks. Maybe on a Saturday you aren't riding.

Or maybe I'll just drop it off some other day as I pretty much ride every Saturday.  I'll be out of town the next 2 weekends.  I'll be riding the Black hills.  I'll get with you after I get back.
