It'll come back.  We just have to post up some fun stuff.  Rides, Flashmobs, wrench parties...
Hey jrobinson, I love the way the forum looks and feels now.  It's ready for action!

And Gearbanger, there is a real shortage of motorcycle shops around Birmingham.  And that's getting to be more and more the case nationwide as parts and diagnostics get harder to obtain.

you could always slap on some stickier tars for the one day thing, then toss em after it's done.

:-)

I asked Rodney if I should get some stickier tires and he down-voted me.  Boo.  I thought it was a good idea too.   :-/

You are a very hand cousin to have. I hope he appreciated all the effort.  Congrats on getting it done under the deadline.

Congratulations On the completion and enjoy the trip. May the weather be good and ride safe.

Yep I thought that was their logo on the tank. I've had them work on my bikes from time to time. Always seemed to get good service from them.

I too live in Robertsdale a glad to hear you may be moving to Elberta. Stay active on the site and let's ride sometime. Let your buddy in Gulf Shores check out this site and let's see is we can get South Bama more active on here!!

With the amount of traffic we have, Hwy 65 clears up pretty fast after the storms.

I rode up to Princeton and to the race track last night. It was a little chilly on the ride home at 11

I appreciate it.  The tires and brakes are on.  Now to bleed the clutch and brakes.  Oil replaced and radiator fluid checked...  I'm a bit concerned about the tank though.  It doesn't appear to be the factory tank.  I'm not sure what they were doing with it.  As soon as we get back, I'll be looking to replace it with the original tank.

The bike was purchased in Robertsdale.  For 16,500 miles, its a bit rough. Hopefully all the fluids will bleed out fine today and I'll take it on its first ride.

The bike should be back along the coast fairly soon.  My cousin lives in Gulf Shores and I'm working on building a new home near Elberta.

We rode through the area yesterday.  CR8 was in great condition.  65 had a bit of gravel in some places but overall wasn't bad.  CR33 was really rough but that wasn't due to the storms.  It just needs to be repaved.
