...give me some suggestions...

How about let's have two rides?  I'll lead a street ride, and you lead the dual sport ride?

That sounds like a good idea, actually I'd gotten a suggestion of a "covered-bridge" street ride...Blount counties and whatever else could be sandwiched in there.

I think it was Mike Ashbaugh that suggested that ride.  Y'all 2 get together and out the street riders together a good route. 8)

Alright, I will commit to leading the street ride on Saturday.  It will be a Ride for Pie!

I am really looking forward to this one and plan to ride up Friday around noon.

Is there any place to hang a hammock?

Hammock might be an issue..... How close do the trees need to be?  I'll look around this evening and see just what we've got around.

Now that I think about it....We could probably hang hammocks down in our barn, couple hundred yards from the festivities, but it's an easy walk/ride....

I'll take a few pictures tonight and post'em up.

I think I am good for 15 to 20 feet.

It is just a lot easier to pack than the tent (and more comfortable)

Space is the main issue with my current setup.

Al.
What ya got ginned up for the dirt part.

Yeah, is there any chance for an advanced copy of the route? I might have time to transfer the roll chart into electronic format!

We'll be scouting/pre-riding the route tomorrow.  Leaving our house around 8am.

Even though the route hasn't been pinned down just yet, I have been doing some preparation.

Got the fire-pit ready.

.

Bon-fire pile is also ready.

The pool is still open, if someone wants a cool swim.  Plus, restroom facilitiesa available in the poolhouse there.

I'll appologive to the hammock campers, no trees around, but plenty of room for tents.

Speaking of tents, anyone needing one for the weekend....I have 4 i could have setup and ready if needed.

Thanks Al I am really getting pumped for this ride.

If I can park my truck near that telephone pole I can run a hammock between it and my truck!

I will bring my tent just in case my redneck engineering skills come up short!

Thanks again for all you are doing!

I started prepping back in July with a trip up to the bourbon trail! Do you have a preference?
