3 of Dad's riding buddies Bud Bailey, Wayme Sandlin and Bobby Hendley. This was taken in Huntsville on The 4 Lane, known as Governors Drive now. Martin Stamp and Stove, now The Stove House is in the background along with Monte Sano Mt. I believe this was where 12th St and Governors Drive meet. Mid 50's.

In the late 50's Dad raced on the flat tracks around Huntsville. Several years ago I acquired his helmet from a relative. Later I got an old Bell helmet bag. I put the 2 together on the wall this morning finally. Dad in his leathers with the helmet, on the track at Old Fairgrounds and posing with his racer.

Motorcycle ride on 2 lane roads with lunch somewhere along the way. Sunday morning KSU at 10am. Leaving from Chevron in Gurley on Hwy 72. Coffee and biscuit in Hardee's at 9:30am. All riders welcome.

25 miles from Las Vegas, the battery shorted out and Chuck went to find a new battery. The temp that day was 117.
